Erin L. Cole, MA
Erin has worked in the public school system for 15 years. During that time, she has witnessed students who had behavior issues within the classroom setting. Often these children were dealing with stressful home lives and situations that were not in their control. This encouraged Erin to pursue her second masters degree in the mental health field and in January of 2017, she earned a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. Ever since then, Erin has been working here at HMS.
Erin's approach to counseling includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Reality Therapy, Mindfulness, and Psychosocial Therapy.
Erin enjoys working with people from all different walks of life. She provides a safe environment free of judgement and encourages her clients to be a part of their treatment planning, goals, and outcomes.
Erin has experience with both couples and individual counseling in the following areas: ADHD, life transitions, conflict, communication, trauma, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders.
