Nicole Duckett, MS MFT-I
Nicole has been in the mental health and social work fields for over 20 years, which includes experience working in residential hospital settings, educational systems, child services, and non-profit work. Prior to completing her Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy, she was with the Department of Children’s Services for 12 years where she worked alongside families in Juvenile Justice and Child Protective Services as both a case worker and a team leader. Nicole has a passion for working with First Responders and their families regarding the unique issues that impact this demographic.
Nicole’s goal is to provide a therapeutic space for each person to feel safe, valued, and cared for, which includes offering a calm and comforting physical environment for sessions to be held. She has received certifications in both TF-CBT, PREPARE/ENRICH premarital program and Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1 and has been a member of the AAMFT since 2020. She is also currently working on her certification for Emergency Responder and Public Safety Clinician Certification(CORDICO).
​Nicole typically uses techniques from Narrative therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral therapy, Solution-Focused therapy, Play/Art therapy, Experiential therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Emotionally-Focused therapy, and Dialectal Behavioral Therapy. Nicole operates on an attachment-based, trauma-informed, humanistic approach with a systemic lens.​

Her office is handicap accessible and she sees patients Monday – Thursday 9AM - 5PM and Friday 9AM - 1PM. She provides continuing and comprehensive mental and behavioral health care for individuals, couples, and families.
